Colored hair

Hi I would like to know if you can use hair dye bought from a shop (herbal essences fearless blonde) to colour ontop of bleached highlighted blonde hair , as I was going to do it myself as my roots are showing just a littlt to much, and my hair dresser is away at the moment,, thanks for any advice.
