I want to change my hair back to my original color

I colored my hair black using store coloring. I want to change it back to my original color which is brown. I have bought brown and blonde to try to change it back but it did not change. HELP!

yeah your going to have to bleach it. with just plain hair coloring, you cant go lighter then the color your hair is at the moment. it just doesnt work out that way. and remember if you dye your hair too much in a short period of time your hairs going to fall out our something.

Some info: Although do-it-yourself highlights and hair-color kits are easy and inexpensive, the results are almost always not in your best interest. Get a recommendation for a good stylist and consult with him or her (as well as your parents!) before you decide to change your hair color. There are infinite shades of “blonde,” “red,” “brown,” or even “black.” A stylist can help you pick the best one for your skin tone. Also, your current hair-color might react to certain dyes.

Answer #3

There is a product out in the haircolor section called “Ooops!” or something like that. Anyhow, it is supposed to fix dyeing your hair the wrong color and remove the dye. Other than that, I’d go to a salon and let someone professional do it. If you don’t do it right, your hair could break off or you’d end up with some bizarre color of hair.

=) good luck!

Answer #5

Well, you can only get your normal hair color back by letting it grow.

If you want it to a brown color close to your hair bleach your hair then to the color you want.

Answer #6

I am in the same situation I had a light brown hair colour and now I hate been black and I am wanting my normal hair colour back. my advise is what I did as stupid as it may sound wash your hair in washing up liquid trust me it works as I fetches out some colour my hair isnt as black now as when the light shines on my hair you can sort of see the brown and then keep dying you hair a dark brown then a brown lighter than that and so on til you get a similar colour to your hair then just let it grow through.

hope this helps
