I'm a Chef and a Pastry Chef and I went to college for both - separately. You'll need to do an apprenticeship afterward (about 3 years), and I don't know what your certifications are there, but here in Canada, it's called the Red Seal - you need to pass an exam to get it.
any job you try to get for that will probably want you to have been in a culinary arts program at least
