When does your city go Trick or Treating?

On the 31st as soon as it gets a little darker so about 5 until Midnight (:

Our town is trick or treating monday night - tell me how stupid that is. On all saints day and november…makes no sense. The town next to us is trick or treating tonight, were participating in their town.

I’m tempted to mail you some, lol

Why do communities think they can just shuffle around traditions at will? That’s so frustrating.

Every Canadian city I have ever lived in goes Trick Or Treating on October 31st., no matter what day of the week it lands on. The little kids start around 6-7pm. and the older kids start around 8pm. Its usually done by 9-9:30pm.

We are going on the 31st which falls on a Sunday. But the younger kids (ie my sister who is 13) had their Halloween parties last night (Saturday) because of school on Monday. Usually everybody does it on the actual day around here, it’s just the parties that are moved to Saturdays and Fridays. Time-wise, the parents with younger kids aged 4-12 go trick-or-treating around 6pm-8pm when it’s still light as day. The older kids then go around 9-11pm.

our town is trick or treating on saturday and sunday cuz since halloween is on sunday ppl don’t want to go cuz then we have to wake up early and stuff. so some ppl r going on saturday

Mine has it today. Something about setting up safety for the kids. That way I guess the trouble makers and the drinking and what not can go on with the kids safely at home?
