Who has Christinan answers or advice?

I am struggling with the whole pre-destination thing. God says we can make a choice but he knows what our choice will be, and it will not change. So it’s not really my choice… but it is… but I cant change it. Also how my families financial problems are CONSUMING and CONTROLLING our lives now, but in the whole sceme of things they dont matter and never will. Also the sameness of the world. We are all (most) going to grow up, get a job, get married, have kids and continue the cycle. maybe bring a few people to christ along the way. I just feel SO meaningless!

Answer #1

He gave you a choice and thinsg can change. Life is still what you make of it. You can live a good life whilst following God’s word. Not everything will always be the same, it takes YOUR time and effort and it is your choice if you will take that. God won’t make you do things. You may not marry, you may not get a job, you may be rich you may be poor, it is what you make of it but you will always have Him for support and to turn to.

Answer #2

I say tis to be random All humans, without exception, will eventually die.

When they die they go to MU (nothingness).

All humans, no matter what they do in life, will go to the same place after they die.

All humans are equal in death.

Once dead, they can never come back to life

Answer #3

Um… i dont understand why you said that. Is this what you beleive?

Answer #4

no I don’t beleive in that I just like to say that to people to mess with them and see there response.

Answer #5

Oh… well… that sounds fun! Do people usually freak on you??

Answer #6

That’s because you are meaningless. You are absolutely minute and unimportant in the grand scale of things. Just think, you are a miniscule being on one of Earth’s 195 coutnries, on 7 continents, out of 7 billion people, on one of the 9 planets in our solar system, with about 400 billion stars in our galaxy alone. If each of them have the same number of planets (on average) as our own sun, then that’s about 4 trillion planets in our own galaxy alone. Multiply that by an estimated 125 billion galaxies in the universe … that’s a lot of planets.

You are absolutely unimportant. And the best part is, the same goes for all of us. ;)

i honestly have asked myself this so many times i cant remember. i think what it is is that God gives us free choice, but He knows what we are going to do. He doesnt force us, but cant make us turn from it. He gives us a mind to choose what we want, and while He knows what we’re gonna do, we can change our minds as many times as we want. He could make us do what He wants us to do, but we would be robots if He did that. we dont know what He knows and therefore its our choice, yanno? am i making any sense, i hope so. hope i helped at least some!

Answer #8

I know it seems overwhelming right now. You probably feel like you’re drowning. You want to cry, but who do you cry to, because everyone around you is just as screwed up as you are and none of it makes sense? I was totally there 2 yrs ago. I was drowning in debt ($170,000) brought on mainly by my husband, I was stuck in a hospital bed, overweight, unhealthy, unhappy, a writer who had given up on her craft, in an abusive marriage and nobody would help my daughter and I. Today I’m 100% out of debt, aside from at last buying a house (something I never would have been able to do in my former life), out of the hospital bed, I’ve lost a total of 200 lbs, I still have lupus, but I’m doing better than I have in years, I’m happy, writing again, and I left my husband. It was all hard at the time, but I believe God puts us through these obstacles so that we will learn. If we don’t learn the first time, we are doomed to repeat it. Take comfort in the fact that He knows what is going to happen, rather than feeling trapped by it. If you believe in the adage that God never gives us more than we can handle, then believe also that with work and perserverance, life will turn around. I’m a better person, mother, daughter & writer, because of what I have endured. I’m not yet ready to say it was worth it (I can still see my daughter with a black eye and my shoulder still gives me trouble from when my ex threw me in the shower), but God has healed my heart and I am ready to move on because of Him.

Answer #10

Lol

Answer #11

what God means by “you can make your choices but it will all be the same in the end” is this: you have an option to do one thing or the other and either way you will learn the same lesson from the experience. its kinda like if you come to a fork in the road and you think hard about where they will go and you decide to pick the left, lets say, so you go along the path and then you realize that the paths meet in the end and it didnt matter which road youd taken. hope this makes a little sense. i think in metaphors a lot. :)

Answer #12

You are absolutely loved by God..He said in his Word Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; ……”Matthew 10:30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Also dont worry about God knowing ur decisions befor u make them. He does not judge u based on ur future. Get involved in working for God and it will bring meaning to ur life.

Answer #13

Genesis 22:1 says God put Abraham to the test. Would it be really a tes if God allready knew what was going to be the outcome?

Answer #14

Of course it is. Its a test for Abraham becasue HE didnt know the outcome.

Answer #15

Baby you’re making it too hard on yourself. You wouldn’t be here if you didn’t have purpose and meaning. You have been given a gift and if you can stay on the path and discipline of Christ, your reward will be what God intended to give us in the beginning….paradise. Predestination is just God knowing us, down deep in our hearts. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Have you ever had a deja-vu? Like we’ve been in a future time. Thats impossible for us, but to God our future is His past. He can show us that. You are so much more precious than you can begin to imagine. It is Satans job to make you believe otherwise but it is not so. You are loved beyond belief, and I love you too.

Answer #16

Genesis says that about God but says nothing about what was going on in Abrahams mind. This is a man who implicitly trusted and loved God. Maybe the truth is that they both did know the outcome; like Daniel fighting with the angel for a blessing, that neither would give up on the other. Just a thought.

Answer #17

Genesis 22:12 says “now i know you fear God”, in other words God did not know it before?
