He tells us in His word, ‘my thoughts are not your thoughts’ and ‘my ways are not your ways’ - in other words, we have worldly thoughts/ways - Gods are much higher - the levels of which we are not capable in our limited human capacity - so many questions we have can’t and won’t be answered until we get to Heaven…Hope this helps !!

Well, I too share the sentiment that it’s tough to see a young person go. A personal friend of a mine named Mark Woerlen had his wife, unborn child and six other children die in a horrific fire that destroyed the family’s home while he was away making preparations to move the family. He and his family, very devout Christians, and fine human beings took this loss with such grace and love. What a testimony. The point is that the bible itself tells us that God Himself has our days numbered exactly and it’s not up to us to know when, how or from what we die but that we are ready. Those children are gone because God allowed it for His purpose. Why? To bring glory to Himself. How? So many thousands of people who heard the story around the world passed their love and condolences, but many people came to the saving knowledge of Christ because of this seemingly senseless tradgedy. God uses many things to get our attention but we humans are very stubborn and ignorant. Also, we can’t lose sight of the fact that this world is under God’s judgement. We live in a fallen world and only until Jesus comes again will that change forever.

Yeah, their general response to ‘questioning god’ is inability, anger, alienation, divergence, etc.

Most of the attempted responses consist of, “We don’t know, but its right.”

I can say that only god knows when our times are, so no one dies before its time, its just their time to go, we hardly believe that cause its hard to see our beloved ones going away, but no one is going to live forever. no one knows for sure why did hurricane katrina happened, only god knows but may be its god’s way to test us, to know who is good enough to help those people, and who is areal believer who kept his faith after this disaster, and didn’t say ‘’ if there was agod he wouldn’t let that happen so there is no god’’, and about all who died in this hurricane ,don’t worry about them, cause they are in the heaven, god is more merciful than us.

The bible is Gods answer book, everything that your husband is needing answers to, will be found there. There are many different versions making it easier to read and understand. The bible was given thru the inspirition of the Holy Spirit, to man, so that we could understand God. It is still needful to seek God before reading his word, asking him to open it up to you, thru the same Spirit that gave it to begin with. Don’t take others answers, seek it out, so that you know for sure what it says, then, you can share with others. If it is not addressed in the bible, then, apparently God choose not to give us all the answers, some things we may have to wait until we see him, face to face, to understand.

I’d advise your husband to ask God for himself! If he doesn’t believe in God then he’s got nothing to loose - it’s just a silly game to him. But if, as it turns out, God is real, then your husband may get some answers. He’ll need to be ready to listen to them, and not close himself to them, but I think that if he asks honestly he will begin to find out for himself. That will mean more to him than just listening to what other people have to say.

And if you pray yourself, you can learn the hard lesson that wives usually have to learn - we can’t change our husbands! He can change himself, and God can change him, but we can’t. What we need to do is pray very lovingly for our husband’s needs, concerns and for blessings for him, without trying to tell God how to change him!
