cheerleading questions!

I don’t really understand how it works. do you just cheer at your school’s games or do you go to competitions? what do you think you need to be able to do to make the squad? (splits, roundoff, etc)

Well, at my school…We have competitions and we cheer at the games..(both are fun.) Anyways, at the middle school you need to be able to dance, cheer, jumps, roundoff, cartwheel, and splits. At our highschool…you have to know how to dance, cheer, jumps, backhandspring, back tuck, ariel, and splits…also stunts but that depends if you are base, front spot, back spot, or a flyer…im a flyer so I have to be able to pull a scorp, heel-s, bow, and scale in extension…you are probably confused by now…look it up.
