In New Zealand, being a cheerleader is... for want of another word... lame and uncool. I was just watching a movie and it occurred to me that cheerleading seems like the 'cool' thing to do in the US, like all of the popular girls are cheerleaders. Here, it's the unpopular girls that try with cheerleading. I don't want to sound judgmental or anything, but when I was in school it would have been social su*cide to try out for cheerleading!
The cheerleaders at my school are okay looking and short and they don't cheer that well tbh. Actually the cheerleaders at my school are not as known as the marching band. We have 182 students playing in band and if you are in band at my school you are very popular =D
It usually is, but while I was in high school, it was cool to be in choir. More girls would audition for our class than for cheerleading. FFA was also 'in'. But yes, generally it is the ''cool'' thing lol
Yes, they are, most of the time, perty girls. I also think it has to do with the fact that their personality adds up to it, and all. So yeah, being a cheerleader is being popular, or cool.
It is considered cool in high school and college, but probably not in middle school or below, and if you cheer for a pro team, well thats cool and awesome
Yup. It is. Most cheerleaders are blonde, tan, super skinny, and very popular. Therefore, they're considered "perfect" to almost everyone.
Cheerleaders=skinniest, tannest & most popular girls in school.
IDK, I was disqualified because of my mustache...
Yeahh it is...all the hot guys go for them :/
but at other schools-yes it is a big deal
:') poor michel
yup.
