check boxes in word! HELPPP

I have inserted check boxes into my word document. but the problem I’m facing is that I cant check the relevant boxes. please help me do this… its urgent!!

Are you using the “forms” path to get to them and insert them? (View - Toolbars - Forms)

If you are inserting them that way, you should be able to just double click on the box, click “Check”, and voila.
