Why do chavs always have a go at emos?

because they think there better than every1 else I h8 boy chav’s they think there the hottest people in the world and love themselves in my oppinion emo’s are way better and emo boys are HOTT! =D lol

Um… Not sure what a “chav” equivalent would be in America, but I finally found the term on Wikipedia. After figuring out that a chav is a derogatory term for a youth sub-culture that is marked by lower income, striking dress style, and a penchant for crime, I can say that you may need a check on peer group reality. Social cliques don’t mesh with other social cliques, because they are just that: Cliques. Emo’s are just as much a social clique as any other amongst the youth.

Like any other social peer group setting, you are going to have a schism between the groups which can be quite petty and senseless. I could lecture on this phenom, but it would be simpler to compare your social question to race and class issues that plague the world. (ie, women vs. men, whites vs. every other race known to man, rich vs. poor, etc) So long as there is a dominant paradigm, there will be a subjugated or oppressed group that defines the social structure of that given society.

The question of “why” is one for philosophy. The solution to your issue is simple: Enjoy your life in spite of the judgment of others.

People hate emos as much as any other stereotypical group. It seems like “emos” act like they are so hard done by, yet they treat others just as bad.

its because emo people are different also because many of them fake their issues, and nobody wants to feel depressed by seeing an emo person because instead of keeping emotional problems to themselves and loved ones, emo kids tend to try and show everyone how depressed they are which is quite annoying
