Are chapped lips contagious?
like, if you kiss someone or drink off of someone with chapped lips,will yours get chapped,cuz both have happened to me before,so is it contagious or was it a coincidence

Nope. as for the kissing, chapped lips happen usually from licking your lips, or the weather/ air conditions. so after kissing you can easily get chapped lips from all the saliva. lol

I just looked it up- the disease is pretty rare. I doubt you have it. Don’t lick your lips so much if you do often. More peoples lips are chapped in wintertime also, due to dry air resulting in higher evaporation rates. Find a lip balm of some sort with lanolin in it. Lanolin accelerates your lips healing and the other oils in the balm will increase moisture retention. Look up Lanolin on wikipedia…http://funadvice.com/r/15imfvohnba
