How can you change the length of a song so I only get the section in the middle I want?

I have been put in charge of music for a presentation we have to do for school, it’s a Chatshow kinda thing and I need a spethific part of a few songs to introduce the host and guest. Any help??? All Answers will b appreciated :)

Record the song. Then, using some sound editing software (garage band on a mac, or similar software on a PC) you can just chop out, save as a new file the section you want.

You may have to use an external device to record the song, if it’s DRM protected….check the license requirements of the song before you try to distribute the ‘show’ as you may end up violating copyright law if it gets distributed outside of school.

download the LISCENED version of the song, get goldwave (a video editing software) and you can easily trim it with that. btw goldwave is free
