Change is good...right?

So a few years back I was one of the people you call…GHETTO. I hung around with a lot of black people dressed like them. Fought all the time. Btw im puerto rican&&black. So lately I’ve been trying to shed that sterotype about me. I mean white people(no offense) look at us and think we’re ghetto. So I change a little I hang around with all race now && I love it. Im a little prep, Ihave my own style with the technoish flavaa, but still keep it gangsterr…HATE ON IT jkjk But some of my black friends hate. I don’t really talk to that many black people now and I don’t even date them, Barely invite any of them into my house because of how they act. They make all black people look bad and that’s not good. People change over time eventually. Imean sooner or later everybody is going to change. Btw my bestfriend is Mexican =) But yeah I think that made the right choice to change and except other races in my life and be more open-minded about things…do you?

Most definitely - and I’m happy for you that you got yourself together. If your “black friends” truly care about you than they will accept your choices. It really goes to show who your true friends are. I think thats awesome that you are getting to know other races because you will learn a lot. I wish I had that option but I live in a little white town lol congrads though for standing up for yourself, you’ll look back and say “I’m glad I was willing to be me and not who others want me to be”. :)
