do you think celebrities deserve more respect than people and why?

well No everyone should be treated fairly I dont really belive in celebrites like I know there real but I just think of them as normal people who happen to get a job just like everyone else nothing special bout them

they are people just like you and me (though some are dumber than anyone)

they act. so what? they sing. so what? they are getting money out of it (hell load) and they want respect? scuse me you are getting enough cash as it is… so STFU. they arent saving the world are they…

I dont think they do. they are just like us, but their jobs involve tv and movies. but then again, everyone deserves respect.

The question is, would they show us respect ? Would they put someone else before them self ? Or would they snub someone alittle less fortunate because they have a lot of money and are famous? If they obviously treat others like garbage,well then I don’t think they would deserve any respect. Thats what I think makes any person deserve respect.

I totally agree with everyone in here.Celebrities sometimes act as if they do not deserve respect from us and some are really dumber than us.Why do the wrong things when you have all the money in the world?They should instead use their money and fame to influence the world to do something good instead of adding on a ‘burden’ to the world.But,I agree some celebrities do have our respect.Still in the end I do not think they deserve more because they are rich,well-known as we are all humans!!!

Depends on the celebrity and what they’ve done… Paris Hilton, not so much…
