Did I get caught by a traffic cam?

Hate to say it but it probably got you, its best to call the police station, talk with the traffic clerk and get it paid asap, if it did get you

I was just wondering if the cam always flashes when you’re caught or not?

If there was no light flash you probably didn’t get caught, but don’t quote me on that.

Majority of cams dont monitor that, most just affect when the traffic light changes due to traffic. At least in Texas.

Those red light traffic cameras are such do more harm than good. They are installed by private companies and they bring lots of money to cities. In many towns they increase the accidents rate because drivers will slam on the brakes as soon as the light turn yellow causing rear end collisions from drivers who were expecting the driver too keep going and instead they stopped on the yellow light. In many towns now they have made it more convenient for the driver to pay for their ticket. Usually the same week your ticket will arrive in the mail with your picture and your car licence plate picture and the amount. Odds are good that there was no camera, (also if it was daylight you would not have seen any flash). Just be more aware in the future, and count this as you one-time wake-up call to be a more attentive driver. Your life (or maybe mine) depends on it. Take care

BlueDevil, for the record, I’ve never been drunk and therefore could not have been drunk driving and I’ve never texted while driving. I had a lot going on that day and for some reason it didn’t register that even if the light to go straight is green, you can’t turn left if that turn light is red. There were absolutely no other cars around at the time and I’m pretty sure I didn’t caught because I believe I would have gotten something in the mail by now. But thanks for all the unnecessary bashing.
