I would check out some liberal arts colleges in your area. I know where I live Webster University is known best for the filmmakers program, but it wouldn’t make sense to go there unless you live nearby.

Well I feel dumb because you said the city you want to go to. So you could consider Webster because St. Louis is only a few hours away. In Chicago you could try The Illinois Institute of Art or International Academy of Design and technology-Chicago.
