Can a lump on my cat's head be a sign of cancer?

I realized today that he has got a lump growing on his head. He winces every time I examine it. He also doesn’t like to eat his food anymore. He rarely eats. Someone told me the lump could be cancer. Is this true? Should I get him examined? He might’ve gotten the lump by smashing into things because he does it a lot. What are the symptoms?

Answer #1

You should get him checked out, I mean, lots of things could mean cancer or they could be harmless, you cant know for sure until you see the vet.

Answer #2

How old is the cat? Sometimes, older cats and dogs develop skin tumours that are not cancerous, however, any doubt should warrant a trip to the vet.

Answer #3

He’s about two-three months old. I’ll get him checked out anyways. thanks.

Answer #4

Alrighty. Will do. Thanks!

Answer #5

Take Him “To The Vet.. Maybe It’s Harmless.. Why Worry?
