How long does it take to get your hair highlighted?

Hey it doesn’t take long and depending on how dark your hair is you have to watch it cause darker hair tends to look orange when lightning it.. I would recomend going to a salon and not doing it at home

Whenever you want it. And it doesn’t take long at all. After applying, you will have to leave the dye in your hair for 30 mins or so. Also, if you are not sure about the color or whether you think it will look good or whatever then you can use semi-permanent hair dye which will wash out eventually or have just temporary color that washes out when you rinse/shampoo. When you have your hair dyed (highlighted) permanently it is suggested that you have a patch test (put a little bit of the ingredients you are going to use to dye your hair on your skin somewhere - maybe your neck underneath your hair) first just in case you are allergic to it. Be sure if you want this though because dying your hair may affect its quality.
