Capuchins vs Squirrel Monkeys

Hey I’m planning to get a baby monkey in the next year or two but I was wondering which species is better to have as a pet? I want a little buddy that can hang out with me and isn’t too solitary but I also want one that is smart and will listen once I tame it. Oh and what are yalls thoughts on male or females? Do thay act different and which ones easier to handle? I also go to school from 8:15 am to about 3:45 and I know you can’t of course leave them alone as a baby but when they are an adult is that ok?

-Oh and people who are going to criticize the idea of having a monkey buddy are not welcome>:( but informing critisizm disregarding the fact of not having one at all is ok :)

Thank you to everyone who will help :)

P.S.-I have done tons of research and tons isn’t an exaggeration!

You may look into sugar gliders before getting a monkey, there smaller, but so cute, and love to be with people. You cant really own just 1 you have to have 2, but there small and do not cost to much to take care of. They can fly, but they look like a small lemur. There playful and cute. But a little hard to tame some times. And during the day if you tame it well you could get away with taking it to school with you if your careful because during the day they will be perfictly happy sleeping in a pouch around your neck. I take mine to school, work, out shopping, every were with me.
