Cantelope looking ugly

Why are the leaves on my canteloupe turning yellow . They look like they are trying to die

Could be any of a million things. Overwatering, underfertilization, overfertilization, etc.

Before watering, check underneath the surface of the soil to 1/2” deep and make sure it’s dry there before watering. Apply a fertilizer according to the instructions. No more than 50% more than what they say (since cantaloupes like a lot), and no less either. If the soil is hard, loosen it up with some humus, humic acid or organic material like composted bark (often sold as “compost”). Organic fertilizers are more expensive, especially ones requiring a high volume of material, but they also provide additional benefits. Like they might fertilize and also loosen the soil, etc.
