Cant get over long distance relationship

Last year, 14 febuary, 2007, I started going out with this guy matt, and I talked to him every single day. And we dated for 8 months, and that summer was my transition from junior high to high school, and im in marching band, and it was started to be time consuming, and couldnt talk as much. And then in june, he started saying his life was getting harder because he loved me, but we lived 4,945 miles apart. And then in september, we broke it off… And its been almost a year… And I just cant seem to get over him.

Do you think I was really in love? What should I do to get over him?

I told him And he said theres only one thing I can do if I cant just drop him, and thats stop talking to him, and he doesnt want to stop.

And he doesnt want to date anymore, but he cant get another girlfriend, and he told me I was the best thing to happen to him, and it was the best 7 months of his life. Til we started falling apart.

I really miss him… I mean… Michigan to england is a long way away.

But I feel like I loved him more than anything in the world.

And I’ve been with 2 guys since. And they’ve been long relationshipd. But neither times I’ve told them im not over matt.

Its just we had everything in common, from music down to juice… And he always made me laugh… And talking about him is making me want to cry.

So was I in love? What should I do to get over him?
