Candy 'bar' or candy 'cup'? Everyone vote!

Ok, so here’s the story. A friend of mine made a ‘How well do you know me?’ quiz. One of her questions asked what her favorite candy bar was and her husband guessed wrong. The correct answer was a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. But, now he’s trying to say that a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup is a ‘cup’ not a ‘bar’, so it can’t be considered a candy bar. It’s ridiculous, but do you see a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup as a candy bar? lol :)

Answer #1

I think it’s just a candy. A bar is something… different. You know like a candy would be a jolly rancher or a Reese’s Peanut Butter cup. So yea that’s legit. She should have asked ‘what’s my favorite candy?’ Of course he could have answered correctly despite the wording. They should just let it go anyways :D

interesting question ^.^ id probably call it a candy bar, since I’ve never heard anyone call anything a candy cup. but now that yu mention candy cup, it seems more reasonable (:

Answer #4

Hmmm..never really thought about that before~~ I usually just call it a bar…cause it’s in a bar-shaped wrapper, I guess~~

Answer #5

Ok, I think he’s right on a technicality. Just don’t ever let him know that.

Answer #6

Um…I think it is a candy ‘cup’. That makes the most sense.
