How do you get candle-wax out of a t-shirt?

I accidentally dripped candle-wax on one of my favorite t-shirts, which my father bought me down in NYC, so I can’t neccesarilly easilly get a new one. I got some of it off, but it really sunk into the shirt, and it looks embarassingly like a stain from a bodilly fluid I won’t mention. Is there a way to get the wax out? (The wax is covering about three thumbnail-sized areas on the bottom of the shirt.)

Does it have any print on it?! umm, ok, you can always try to use a club soda…i mean if it gets gum off…it should get that off…If it still doesnt work…always have another option hoping it doesnt have a print on it…but you can get black dye & run it through a cycle…that might help get rid of the stain, but if there is a print on it might turn it black as well…:(

hope the club soda does the trick though!
good luck!

Like gum, candle wax can generally be frozen off of clothing garments so that it just breaks off. Any stain that remains can be removed by placing the stain between two pieces of absorbent white blotting material. You can use a warm iron over the stain to get the color to transfer to the blotting material.
