Can you really get cancer from a TV remote?

Is it true that if someone points a tv remote at your head you could get cancer?

Not sure if it’s a major contributor, but I wouldn’t worry about it.

Dear dani007, considering that cell phones were thought to cause cancer and I would imagine that more people would hold a cell phone to their ear much more than they would get a remote pointed at thier head…As of today, they state that they DO NOT see an increase of cancer due to cell phones alone. Sue…good luck

Pardon the Pun but - chances are ‘Remote’ :-)…I would doubt it, not a strong enough output - some Police have gotten it be cause they rested a radar unit on their lap for too long…Take care !!
