Can you quit the army?

I’ve been wondering for a while can you quit the army some people say no and some people say yes I wanna know what you guys think

Answer #1

Yes, it’s possible to quit the Army but you have to serve the years you owe to them, so say you did 2 years training… then you would have to stay for at least 4 years. Something like that.

You can get a dishonorable discharge, which is BAD, and if you haven’t joined yet but are still in the DEP you can still quit till you report for basic, I did that with the Navy DEP. You can also try for a medical discharge but thats not really you’re chioce, or retire after so many years. But most people if they don’t like it just have to wait till the end of their contract, most people sign up for the minimum at first. Hope that helps, btw I come from a military family
