Can you peirce over a scar?

I had my belly button pierced before and it ripped out..I want it done again..could they? (Its scared pretty bad)

I dont think you can I was born on the hospital floor and now have a scar on my tounge and not that I would have my tounge done but if I wanted to I couldnt weather its closed right up or not I hope that helps x

It depends on the scar tissue. No one here can give you a strait up answer only a professional piercer can help you. They need to look at it to determine if it is able to be repierced.

I had my nose pierced and I took it out and now I have a scar and a bump on the inside of my nose. and I just went to the piercer 3 days ago to get it repierced but he said I cant because of my scar it will not heal properly, so instead I got my eyebrow. sorry, but you just cant.

probably depends on the piercer. go to a piercing shop and ask the guy.

I don’t know if you can, unless it’s completely closed up. Even if you could, I wouldn’t…
