Can you get Pregnant if I've been on BirthControl for almost 2week

okay so I’ve been on birth control for almost 2 weeks now., I’ve been taking it everyday right on time, and never missed a pill yet. Today I let my boyfriend cum in me thinking that it would be safe since my doctor told me all I had to wait was for first 7days to be safe. Yes I know that was stupid and Im regreting it right now. (This is what I get for being such an airhead and letting my hormones take over) anyways, I know what I did was wrong, but all im asking for is some advice to reasure myself, I dont want to freak out.

what is the likelyhood of me getting pregnant if I let my boyfriend cum in me, while on 2nd week of using birthcontrol. is there still a risk, other than that 1%.. am I still 99% protected? I think I should be fine, but it would be great to hear what other people have to say.

ThankYou. =)

You know I don’t really trust birth control. I was conceived on it, and so was my (now ex) girlfriend, so even when she was on it we used a condom.

It takes one full cycle (30 days) for birth control pills to be FULLY effective. Most likely you would be ok but there is a greater chance if you don’t wait the for your full cycle to end. As for getting pregnant on birth control…there is that 1% chance and believe me, it does happen. I took birth control pills correctly for 5 years, never missed a pill, took them at the same time everyday and never took antibiotics (which make them less effective) and I still ended up pregnant. It can happen so be careful.

You, have a very good chance of not being pregnant but next time use a condom and birth control and I hope you are being very smart and getting tested for sti/stds. Be safe and if your really worried go take a hpt if you miss your time. Yours truly, Demika Ray

Oh Sweetie, nothing is 100% when it comes to birth control, even on the pill you still need to use contraceptives if only to protect yourself from STD’s (not suggesting your boyfriend has any just saying) and further protection from unwanted pregnancy. There is no need to panic just yet, you need to wait for a while to see if you have any symptoms of being pregnant. Hopefully all is well.
