Can't find a job

My son pleaded to intimadition with a deadly weapon(pocket knife) an was charged with this. he is on work relese but everywhere he applies to says they can’t hire him because of his charges. my heart really breaks for him. he made a bad choice and now he will pay for this. what can he do? he really wants to do good and find a job. please help us.
