Can my doctor tell if I've been pregnant before?

Dear thatonegirl, Yes, your doctor will be able to tell…but he cannot disclose this to anyone if you don’t want him too. Of course you know that not being totally honest with your husband will bring you problems. So do yourself a favour and seek out counselling to come to terms with you problems so that you can stop the guilt you are feeling. I would say you have no worries about that at all. The information in your medical records are confidential and if the doctor does disclose any of the information to your future husband or anyone else for that matter, they would be in breech of many laws. As you never physically gave birth I don’t think a doctor can tall from an examination that you have been pregnant. But you should tell your doctor for health reasons that you had a miscarriage before but it should be completely confidential.
