Can I sync iPod Touch songs to my PS3?

I just got an iPod Touch on sunday. When I was trying to sync songs I had on my iPod to my PS3, it doesn’t work. This is what I did…

Plugged my charger part of my cable into my ipod, and the usb part of my cable into the front usb ports on my PS3
On my PS3, went over to the music section, and all it says is “Search for Media Service” and “Playlists”. I look over to my iPod and it says it is charging…

Yeah I am having trouble with this as well. I synced my ipod nano with the ps3 so I know there must be a way to do it with an itouch.

becase I pods dont work on the ps3 it only works for xbox360 if I am corect
