Can I go swimming if I just got my belly peirced?

it depends on were you go swimming ocean, rivers, lakes, ect are fine but not pools, you should stay away from them for a few more weeks if you can

I don’t think swimming in the ocean is bad b/c it has salt water, just make sure to clean it out good when you get home. Swimming in a pool however, I wouldn’t recommend.

well I actually got in the ocean 2 days after I got my belly pierced and it didn’t get infected…I’m sure as long as you clean it really good that night you’ll b fine

Yup. Getting piercings are to show it off. But not right after. Wait untill it healed and you can show off your beloved piercings. I hit to the pool after about 2 months of my navel piercings. Wait for it to heal okay? I think its better for you to wait for it to heal. Dont take the risk.

But anyway, you can always make the healing period shorter. Keep it clean and dry. Its important. ^^

well I am a swimmer and I just got mine done and I was wondering the same thing,, then I asked my friend about it and she went swimming the same day she got it pierced and hers is fine plus she swam in open water (a dirty lake full of seeweed and fish) and hers is completley fine,, as longs as you clean it and try not to touch it, it will be fine! infact im swimming next mondaaay ! and today is wednesday (: Good Luck ;)

Yeahh of course youu can it wont do anything to it as long as you clean it afterwards. I went swimming a few days after to:D
