Can I get a tattoo when I'm pregnant?

There is always a slight risk of infection when getting a tatoo.

Personally I’d recommend holding off until after you deliver since there is a slight chance of it causing your prgnancy complications.

If you just have to get some ink be sure to go to a reputable artist who follows all the best practices, (autoclave, single use needles, new sealed ink, etc.)

Well, the first thing is, where are you getting your tattoo? If its from ur back/shoulder or stomache, than I think you should hold back, but if it’s on somewhere no where close to your baby, I don’t think it will be a problem. Also, besides the whole tattoo getting infected thing, I think if you were to get it on your stomache or back, it would look a little strange after having your baby longer, because the tat. may stretch, which is seriously, not cool hahahah.
