Can I buy these at seventeen?
Okay my boyfriend and I are going out for my 17th birthday next weekend. I have a feeling he wants to see a horror movie, and it’ll most likely be raed R. My question is this… since I will be 17 and I do have an id would I be able to buy tickets to something like Paranormal Activity (which rated R)? There is no way he could do it, because he has a few more months to go.

Don’t you have to be 18 to see an [R] rated movie? Maybe you could make yourselves appear older than you are then just ask for tickets hoping you wont get asked for ID? Maybe you should go somewhere else instead of the movies just incase you get asked for ID as a backup plan?
as long as you are 17 with an ID you will be able to get in
