Answer #1

well yah know lets look at the bright side ‘making toilet’ in the garden is fertilizer and actually good for the plants but the biting thing is a whole different story. you could put a muzzle on him. or give him a treat for doing something good and when he does something bad (like bite you) tell him NO! BAD DOG! in a powerful, angry, voice. dogs may not be able to understand what your saying at first but the tone of your voice tells them what kind of mood your in, and after you say something so many times they know what it means.

me personally when my dog bites me, only rarely, or does something bad, I tell her BAD DOG, repeatedly and shake my finger at her nose if she growls at me then I usually take a pillow and wack her a couple times, gets my anger out and she gets the point without it hurting her. but she’s considerably smaller than a german shepard. she’s a lab-charpe mix.

train your dog and fast we have enough homeless dog problems in the world and we don`t need anybody giving their dog up for some reason.

Answer #3

If the dog is a danger to you, I can assume you’re not the only one it tries to bite. Therefore, it can be considered a danger to the town, and you’d have to get rid of it. It would probably be better to get rid of it now, before it bites a little kid.

Ok… German Shepherds are herding dogs…I’m assuming that this dog is biting in a playful manner, yet…it’s too hard for human skin…right? You don’t say how old this dog is, but it doesn’t matter if it’s a pup or an adult, you have to TEACH it, that biting (even playful) is a NO GO! You can’t do this by pushing, yelling, running away…it has to be taught that YOU control all play.

Tell us how old this dog is, as the age makes a huge difference in how to control the biting…

One thing tho, is standard…DO NOT under any circumstances rough house with this dog…in doing so, you perpetuate it’s playful biting.
