Why is the cameraman always showing the hockey players spitting?

I think that people who spit are pigs. Lets keep the camera on the player who is actually playing.

Almmost every single player in hockey is going to have to spit eventually, between the mouth guards they have to wear which builds up spit and the amount of fights where someone gets hurt in hockey…their going to spit. The camara has a tendancy to showthe fights, the blood, etc…it makes for good tv and shows how tough someone is or how bad they were hurt when their spitting up blood.

I can appreciate that but i am talking about when they are just sitting there during a penalty. It’s almost like the cameraman is scouting around looking for a spitter.I always say too when i see the player spinning the mouthguard around, HE’S HUNGRY HA HA
