I know the name for this in my language but don't know what it's called in English. When i'm sleeping sometimes it feels like i'm awake and sense stuff around me and hear stuff it's kind like i'm hallucinating. When i try to wake up i Can't; i try getting up but it feels like i'm being forced down. It's horrible it usually happens when i am tired and go to sleep late but sometimes it just happens randomly. Any idea what it is??? By the way it's called "Aaithan" in my language Jitesh here should know it we from the same country haha.
I believe it's sleep paralysis, many people who suffer this get the sensation that they are being held down against their will, they are aware of what's going on around them but cannot move, some countries believe it is the hag, who sits on peoples chests by leaving her body, giving the sensation of being held down by an invisible force
Your body goes in to sleep paralysis so you stay somewhat still during a dream, and sometimes when you wake up consciously your body is still in paralysis and it takes a bit for your body to "wake up". nothing to worry about, just don't worry and it will pass
Thanks, Adam i googled sleep paralysis and found a lot of interesting stuff. Its apparently called the "old hag syndrome" lol And next time i get this i gotta stop being scared and just blink my eyes rapidly to wake up i'm gonna try that
I concentrate on a certain part of my body(usually my arms)and try to make them move,once I succeeded on that I wake up :)

I have had that happen before and thought is was just a nightmare or something.
