The best way I find doing calf raises when I’m not at the gym is doing them at home. To do this, simply grab 2QT or 1Gal. milk jugs(or water, preferably full) and place your feet on a flat surface but elevated(e.g.: stairs, benches, books). From here, make sure the balls of your feet are on the surface and not the whole foot. Then as you stand on it, keep your back straight, look forward, and raise your self up onto your toes to work the calves. The jugs will weigh you down to add a bit of intensity. Try doing maybe 4-5 sets like this:

1st - No weights - 50-60 reps

2nd - 2QT jug(each hand) - 40-50 reps

3rd - 1Gal. jug(each hand) - 20-30 reps

4th - a brick or heavier than a jug - 15-20 reps

5th - Back to 2QT jug - 30-40 reps

I really hope this helps you and if you have any more questions, just PM me.
