Caffeine and weight?!?<what a title lol>

Hey! Ok does caffeine make you gain weight? …like if I cut out all the soda that has caffeine in it and coffee and all that jazz will I lose any weight? I know you also have to eat right and exersice but will it help? Please and thank you :)

If you stop drinking soda… It will help a lot..becasue its carbonated it swells your stomach.

Well A good idea might be to cut out caffeine and see how that helps the wegith loss, But if it shows no changes then keep drinking it theres this great site called Teens.sparkpeople.com I really like it there actualy a page that had some infor on caffeine. Hope I helpt :)

Actually, I drank soda everyday, and I stopped completely about a month ago, and I lost 9 pounds! (I haven’t changed my exercise/diet so it’s the lack of soda and more water that caused me to lose weight.)

soda is bad for you and sometimes by simply not drinking it you will lose weight, caffeine itself like in black coffee and teas can actually aide in weight loss by boosting metabolism. its the calories and the sugar in the sodas that are bad for you.

Cutting out caffeine will in no way help you to lose weight. However, switch regular soda to diet soda, drink your coffee black, and you will be cutting down on calories which will therefore help you to lose weight.
