Is it a bad idea to buy my boyfriend an acne-free product for his birthday?

I give him acne stuff before, and it helped a lot and he didn’t get offended but it’s his birthday you know, so what other thing should I get him then? and thanks btw <3

I think it would be a nice gift to give on the side, but not the big birthday present. I’d suggest buying him something that matches his personality, or let’s him know how much you care about him. Something sentimental. Even if you’ve given him acne medicine before, it’s still like saying, “hey, you’ve got a lot of acne on your face” and it makes him think about the flaws you may be seeing in him, which may make him self conscious. It really depends on the type of person he is and the amount of confidence he has in himself.

Maybe you could do him a gift basket, with acne cream, cologne, shaving gel, hair gel/wax, and maybe some scratchies or a lotto ticket.

haha, speaking from a dudes perspective, if my gf gave me something like that (and I don’t have that problem) I would raise an eye and say “gee, just what I always wanted” lol I don’t mean to offend you or make light of your choice of gifts, but it would be like me giving my gf some deodorant for Christmas LMAO, which I’m sure she toss right back at my head. is there something he is really into you could afford to buy for him?

This acne thing isn’t cheap like deodorant, it’s a like pro-activ and it helps control acne, it’s a month supply. & I was thinking of buying it as a side gift but Im going to buy something else with it.

Maybe a cute collage book of you and him?
