Can I buy a Verizon phone from RadioShack?

Radio shack has verizon phones for sale for free when they are around $70-$150 on the actual verizon store website. If i get the same phone from radioshack for free do i need to buy a certain plan. because right now i don’t have a data plan, just a basic plan with unlimited texting. Also would I be able to buy a smartphone off of radioshack without buying a data plan, because on verizon you have to have a data plan to get a smartphone from them? I am past my time to renew my phone…get a new phone.

You will have to pay full price for the phone unless your phone is due for an upgrade. You can buy a phone from any company without having a contract you just pay full price.
