if you need any help with designs then just funmail me, i know a lot about nails and crazy designs, my sister works in a salon haha :)
dont forget to mention the other tools that can be used like a dotter...it looks like a pen but on both sides are little dots one smaller & one bigger to create the perfect dot.
Another is all sorts of kits that allow you to have a few colored strips/small colorful dots/some stickers/some nail tattoo transfers/a small wooden orange stick and some brush on sealer. Another kit has assorted & colorful rhinestones that also come with an orange stick & brush on sealer.
All of these things including thin brushes, can be found in ur nearest cvs/walgreens/rite aid drug store in the cosmetic section.
Hope this helps as well, Have fun.
You can open a bobby pin and use each end as a dotter, I do it this way as it's easy and creates lovely dots that can be the same size or start small then go big. I just got two bottles of thin polish from a site called tiffanynailssupply, their really good and fairly cheap.
You could try Amazon and/or Ebay and search for "Nail Art Kits" or "Nail Design Kits"... Here is one page I found on Amazon.com - http://funadvice.com/r/bgp1l3mdgme
