Should I buy a new battery or buy a new laptop?

Well here you need a finance equation. I will suggest you at first estimate the value of your mac-book after fixing it by purchasing a battery . then i will suggest you to sell the macbook in ebay or to other people because your original battery gone, so buying a external one won’t ensure long time guarantee. After selling your macbook you can buy a new laptop by adding some few extra money.

i bought a laptop about 7 yrs ago. and i have bought only one battery for it. reason being i take real good care of it. i have never spilled anything on it never dropped it or anything, it depends on what kind of laptop you have. if its a real good one then it will last u a little bit longer if u take good care of it and if you just buy a new battery for it. if its been through more than the usual tear and wear i would buy a new laptop.

well technologically speaking your Mac is obsolete…. well a MacBook is quite pricey and although its an aesthetic wonder (Mac always went more for the better looks), they dont differ much from one another….. what i mean is, do you really NEED another macbook? i mean its not like you need another 2GB of RAM ‘cos it cant play the latest COD title (cos you cant do that anyway)…. buy a new battery, enjoy ur Mac…

i had my laptop for 5 yrs.after 2.5 yrs what happens?

Nothing happens. They just get old. I have a laptop that is 5 years old and I still use it. I use it at home with the charger since the battery doesn’t hold a charge. It has Windows XP and it is still good to surf the web and do whatever.
