nerves can cause you to release excess adrenaline... 'butterflies' are often associated with a situation we are nervous about, whether it be excitement or far.. 'flight or fight response'
and butterflies don't merely effect our tummies, very often you may have a slight tremble or perspire a little more than normally.
Classicly its used as in " they give me butterflys" i interpet this into words such as shy,worried,stuff like that, or it could mean you feel sickly..its most commonly a good feeling tho [:
i agree but for me it happens if i have to ask a question to anyone because asking questions makes me feel stupid idk y but it does
it could also be that you are nervous about something :P i know that feeling cuz i get nervous easily.....
