Burning sensation of the skin

I have begun to have a burning sensation on my back, right arm and right thigh. There is no visible sign of rash or reddness, only the feeling of a sunburn. Clothes and even the sheets of my bed seem to irritate it. What could be happening? I do take activella a hormone replacement and have been taking it for 3 months now.

Dear mspam1024, This is a common symptom of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. CFS itself is not a single disorder but the word is used to describe many different types of problems and needs to be diagnosed. CFS is used many time when a doctor is unable to give a clear diagnosis of what can be wrong. The burning sensation is painful and annoying at times. A doctor can help with medication to alleviate this. So a doctor should be seen ASAP. Sue…good luck

You might be having a systemic reaction to the drugs. It’s always hard to pinpoint something like this unless you stop and it goes away. Talk to your doctor or even the pharmacist and see if its a side effect.
