What should I have done when Burger King got my order wrong (read more)?

All the restaurants I ever worked at would rather comp a meal than loose a customer. When the same customer repeatedly makes unreasonable demands we would tell them to take a hike but otherwise we’d do whatever we could to make a customer happy. If they didn’t make your burrito the way you like it than they need to make you another one. If they don’t apologize and cheerfully make you another one than they simply don’t want your business badly enough.

Violate their restroom, they will have to clean it up, and never return.

Everyone here is correct. In the food business, the customer is almost always right (within reason). If they messed up an order, then you should let them know so they can correct it for you if they care about your satisfaction (which they should).

thats why i check certain orders at fast food places, that way i can show them where they messed up.

Here in the UK if they mess up my order i not only get a fresh sandwich but i usually demand another drink because usually you have to wait and whilst waiting for them to correct their mistake i drink my drink and am left without one with my food…so they give you another every time.
