There is no cost to get onto Burbon street, It is one of the main streets in New Orleans, It’s about six blocks long with bars and restaurants. The street is closed to thru traffic at night, just walk down the center if you want. Of course you have to be of legal age to go into the bars. Some bars have double or even tipple bubble (you get two or three drinks for the price of one) after a certain hour. There is a tavern towards the east end on the north side with “Cats” in its name that had triple bubble. Very good food and if you eat try to go to a place where you can sit on the baloney to do some people watching. You must be warned that there are some VERY adult clubs on that street where you will be able to see first hand what should be done only by consenting adults in privacy. Drinks and food are very reasonable. Most restaurants have their menu in their front window.

If you go try to take a guided tour of the city during the day. It' awesome.
