Where are these bumps coming from?

My mom had a few random bumps pop up on her face out of nowhere they stayed on her face for about 3 weeks or so. Then just yesterday a bump appeared on my elbow just like the ones on her face. It’s hard, it hurts and it feels like if I burst it blood and white stuff might come out. It’s not a giant bump it’s a small tiny bump. Is this normal? This is my first unusual bump on my body. Other than my face from acne

Answer #1

. Do you think there is any chance that they could be insect bites ? .

Answer #2

No because I’m inside the house 99.9% of the time. And when I see spiders (which is rare) I kill them.

Answer #3

It sounds like she may have come into contact with something infectious and can be spread. That’s something a doctor would have to look at.

Answer #4

Spiders are not insects. Spiders kill insects and eat them. If you kill the spiders, it is more likely that the biting insects will survive to bite you. Some biting insects live almost exclusively e.g. the mites commonly known as “bed-bugs”. Also, dogs and cats can become infested with fleas, and those may in turn infest your carpets etc.. Some small biting insects that are normally found outdoors during the warmer months, may hatch during warm winter spells and take refuge indoors when the temperature drops.

Answer #5

Oops: “… live almost exclusively e.g. the mites …”; I meant: “… live almost exclusively INDOORS e.g. the mites …”.
