Brunette to Blonde to Brunette

My hair is naturally a dark brown, but I have been getting my hair higlighted so I am pretty much a blonde. I am tired of dyeing my hair, and so I want to dye it back to my natural color, without any blonde showing so my hair doesn’t look bad.

Any suggestions ?

I’ve seen a color stripper in Fred Meyer and it just takes out the dye, I’ve never used it so I dont know how well it works, but you could try it

well you basically just told us what your going to do, so what do you want suggestions on…lol??

The blond has in fact already “stipped” your hair of its natural color so a stripper will not work. You need to ADD color to it.

Be careful though. Bleaching removes all the red tones from your hair. If you put straight brown on top of bleached hair it will end up dark green. You MUST first dye it red (called a “filler” dye) then put brown on top of the red. Don’t be scared when you look like bozo the clown after the red dye. Just trust me. After you put the brown on it will look rich and wonderful.

Pay attention to tone though. Red dye can be either purple based or orange based. Make sure you get the one that will do the most for your skin tone.

Answer #4

do it dark brown because its going to fade with in the first few days. so, that would be best too keep your highlights hidden.
