Why does my breath smell bad even after I brush my teeth?

Evn wen I go to the dentist, my breath only smells good for like half an hour?

Answer #1

Chew gum or use breath mints. Spend at least 2-3 minutes brushing your teeth, use mouthwash. I figure it’s the same reason why your breath stinks in the morning :P After awhile, the good smell goes away. Just like washing your body, if you don’t clean yourself, you’ll stink.

Answer #2

brush you’re tongue and use a mouth wash to kill the rest of the jerms

Answer #3

Bad breath isn’t only caused by bad oral hygiene. What you eat, drink, etc… also has an effect on your breath.

Also, maybe that is just how your breath smells, and their isn’t much you can do about it. You may think it smells bad, but it may actually smell normal.

Try chewing on or eating some parsley. Parsley will help reduce the smell, as it is a natural breath freshener.

Answer #8

Well brushing your teeth wont work to hae good breath all day, the best thing you can do is have a mint or a piece of gum to refresh it after you have eaten something and stuff like that.

Answer #9

If it’s not food/drink related, it could definitely be that you have a rotting/dead tooth. But as you said, you go to the dentist. I would ask your dentist this question- they ca look in your mouth to see if everything is ok, and recommend products for you specifically.
