Can breast growth stop before they are fully developed?

I started my period right before I turned 17. My breasts started to grow then but now I am 20 years old and my boobs are still in the pointy stage, the bottom of my breasts, under the nipple, still haven’t rounded out or really grown much at all. I don’t understand what is wrong are my hormones off or something? My boobs should be done growing now, not still in the awkward triangle pointy stage where my nipples are always hard and poking out! I am still barely an A cup! Idk what to do…this is messed up!

Answer #3

its likley your boobs are normal and thats how they should be, not every girls who is a woman has full breasts, many has smaller boobs and even pointy ones. so there probably fine. otherwise things like smoking (which stunts your growth) alcohol and dr*gs as well as some medication can all stop/half growth things like stress, depression and eating disorders can also mess up your body and could stop breast growth

Answer #4

That is probably what your boobs should look like. Some women just do not get full rounded breasts. Then again, you are only 20, mine only started showing improvement around age 18 (before that I couldn’t really call them boobs)

I suggest seeing a doctor to check that everything is ok, especially if you are very worried or self conscious about it. Better to know that everything is all right and then consider if you would for personal reasons like to cosmetically change your breasts
